Vintage Floral Dress c/o Tallulah’s Threads, Topshop Beige Suede Ankle Boots
I’ve had such a fun time over the last week and now to top it off a heatwave has hit Brighton!! It’s been seven days of seeing friends, hosting a ‘First Thursdays’ art exhibition with work, going to a family BBQ, playing badminton in the garden, drinking cocktails, seeing Andy Murray win wimbledon in amazing straight sets, FINALLY seeing Man of Steel at the new Dukes at Komedia (so worth a watch, even if you’re not a Superman/sci fi geek like me; and if you get a chance to go to that cinema GO FOR THE SOFA SEATS!!! SO CUTE!!!), and having a surprise hair cut & colour in exchange for a photo shoot – very exciting and more on that later!
Anyone that knows me, or has read more than one blog post will know my love for floral prints and sundresses. This busy week has called for easy throw on pieces that work both day and night, and when my friends over at Tallulah’s Threads contacted me asking if I’d like to pick a piece out of their beautiful vintage stock of course I jumped at the chance!! Tallulah’s Threads is a Brighton-based vintage boutique that sells online through their own website and also ASOS Marketplace; and it’s founder Dani has a real eye for sourcing unique street style pieces. I chose this beautiful vintage floral tea dress with gorgeous corset tie up detailing at the back, and buttons that run all the way down the front. I absolutely love it!! The colours are slightly different (and by different I mean girly) than I’d normally go for but I’m really happy with how it looks – it’s opened me up to a whole new summer colour palette.
