Parisian-born, queen-of-cool Isabel Marant combined luxe separates in her AW13 collection, to create a rock-chic, tomboyish dream of sheer knits, pony hide boots and razor cheekbones as sharp as the tailoring. My favorite pieces were the décolletage cut-out knits that are equally as sexy as they are cosy and the crop jumper layered over a drop hem peplum, and the kilt-esque wrap skirts…but I predict the pony skin footwear being the new wedge trainers of autumn/winter ’13.
